What is the difference between Natural Farm Egg and Newborn Egg?

Natural Farm Egg (家香蛋) is our regular egg — ordinary size.

Newborn Egg (初生蛋) is smaller, from hens at the start of their laying life.

Both are NFE eggs, raised the same way on the same feed. The difference is the size, not the quality.

What do your hens eat?

Our hens are fed our own Bacillus natto formula alongside a plant-based feeding approach, which helps keep the flock healthy and the eggs consistent.

The natto culture is mixed into their drinking water rather than only into feed, so every hen takes it in evenly, day after day.

It is a natural probiotic, not an antibiotic — it supports gut health and natural defences so the hens stay well without routine antibiotics.

What makes your eggs fresher?

The journey. Supermarket eggs travel farm → collection → distribution → store before they reach you, and can already be five to ten days old on the shelf. Ours are packed at the farm and posted straight to your door.

They are laid the same day or the day before we pack them, and every box is labelled with the real Laid-On date — the day they were laid, not the day they were packed.

We are not the cheapest eggs on the market and we are not trying to be.

Have the eggs been tested?

Yes — independently tested by SGS and certified free of salmonella.

Are the eggs suitable for vegetarians?

They suit an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet. The eggs are unfertilised — laid naturally by hens, not eggs that are developing — and the hens are fed mainly plant protein, with no animal protein added to the feed.

They are not suitable for a strict vegan diet, which excludes eggs altogether.

Do you have halal certification?

No, we do not hold halal certification.

What we can tell you: eggs are laid naturally by the hen and are not processed in any way, and most ordinary eggs on a Malaysian supermarket shelf are not certified either. We have many Malay customers who buy from us regularly.

We would rather tell you plainly than let you assume.
